Digital Sales Position Available


BigCityLife is looking for dynamic self-motivated individuals who are passionate about online media.

The role would require you to be able to sell digital space to clients and be able to work within set achievable targets. If you have an innate ability to talk to people and are able to develop innovative ways in which to market a unique digital platform then this could be for you!  Only candidates with advertising sales experience need apply for this post.

Requirements

  • Target driven (non-negotiable).
  • Proven track record in exceeding online sales targets and delighting customers.
  • Great communication skills (both written and verbal – in English).
  • Negotiation skills.
  • At least two years’ experience working in similar industry.
  • Computer literate (this is non-negotiable)
  • 2 Years telesales experience or customer service experience.
  • The candidate will be required to perform cold calling to introduce our company to possible clients.
  • Digital advertising knowledge and experience will be highly advantageous!
  •  Sales experience (non-negotiable)
  • The candidate must have their own computer/ basic office software (mail/ word/ excel), telephone and transport.


Tasks

  • Selling advertising space for our online magazine, generating new client leads, constructing a weekly sales report and other sales related activities.
  • Liaise with client and designer of the online magazine to provide adverts in the correct format.
  • Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
  • Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
  • Make telephone calls, in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints.


Structure of the role.

  • Candidates must be well spoken and presentable.
  • Candidates need to be vibrant, outgoing and able to converse at senior Management level.
  • Candidates who are target driven and self-managed will suit this role.
  • Candidates will be required to submit weekly reports on sales activities.
  • Candidates will work from home/ their own office space.
  • Candidates will be remunerated on commission only for the first 3 months.
  • BigCityLife will cover costs as laid out in the appointment letter.
